13U GENERAL INFORMATION
- The 2012 player registration fee is $175.
- Register on-line or you may print your documents and mail your registration to NBI.
- Registration is due by January 31, 2012. Registrations received after January 31, 2012 will incur a $25 late fee.
- Registration fee goes toward the following expenses:
- Umpire Fees = 34%
- Baseball Supplies = 15%
- Uniforms = 14%
- League Fees = 10%
- Field Maintenance = 10%
- Insurance = 9%
- Other = 8%
- Total = 100%
- Additional funds are required to maintain our fields each year.
13U LEAGUE INFORMATION
- Tryouts will be held at the Neenah High School Fieldhouse:
Date & Time: March 18, 2012 Neenah High School Field House 12 PM - 2 PM
- Coaches will draft league teams following the tryout. For registered players unable to attend the tryout, coaches will determine team placement.
- League teams will be made up of a maximum 13 players to help provide playing time.
- League rules have set minimum playing time for 13 year olds at one at bat & six consecutive outs in the field per player during each complete game.
- Playing time will not be equal and coaches will base their decisions regarding playing time on a number of factors, some of which are....
- Players attending practice as scheduled.
- Arriving on time for practice and games, this includes warm up time as directed by the coach.
- Attitude, competitiveness, sportsmanship & safety.
- Games are 'generally' scheduled for any night Monday through Thursday and will likely not be the same nights each week. Players must make a commitment to their team.
13U EQUIPMENT INFORMATION
- NBI will provide league shirts and baseball cap.
- Players will need to supply gray pants, black socks, black belt and baseball spikes.
- Metal spikes are NOT allowed at the 13U level.
- The maximum bat drop (bat length minus weight) that is allowed at the 13U level is -8.5. New for the 2012 season, ALL bats MUST have the USSSA 1.15 stamp on it to be legal. Click on the link to the right for official bat rules.
13U TOURNAMENT/TRAVEL TEAM INFORMATION
- Tournament teams play competitve baseball, playing time is NOT equal. Coaches are expected to field the most competitive team.
- Tryout date and location:

- Tournament team players should expect to play on each weekend between June 1 and July 31. You must make a commitment to your team.
- Each tournament team is responsible for covering all costs associated with tournament entry fees, travel and lodging. Tournament entry fees will be shared equally amongst each players family.
