BASES WILL BE 70' INSTEAD OF 60' AS IN JR LITTLE LEAGUE.
PITCHERS DISTANCE WILL BE 50' INSTEAD OF 46' AS IN JR LITTLE LEAGUE.
RUNNERS CAN LEAD OFF AND CAN STEAL ON PITCHERS FIRST MOVE.
PITCHERS WILL PITCH FROM THE STRETCH TO HOLD RUNNERS ON.

Rather than playing 4 years on the same size field, the players can continue to progress and develop their baseball skills. This division of baseball is amongst the fastest growing in the country and will be very exciting for the players!

SR. Little League: The most experienced level of Cal Ripken Baseball, recommended for 11 and 12 year old players. Cal Ripken Baseball is played under the Official Baseball Rules, but implements some special rules as necessary for the development and welfare of this age group. The game is played on a 70-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 50 feet. In order to encourage the league to train more pitchers, there are rules that set the maximum number of innings a pitcher may pitch in a game. Regulation games consist of six innings or four innings if a game is called due to weather. Games are played Monday and Wednesday evenings.
